James R. Kok...I share something in common with you. James R. Kok was my pastor in my middle and high schools years. I loved his pastoral work and his preaching. He is part of the reason I became a pastor in the CRC. Like him I learned to change my mind about having women be preachers and seminary professors. I am a retired pastor, living in Manhattan, Montana where Pastor Kok was the first pastor of our congregation. I also came home and finished my ministry in the churh where I was born and baptized and which gave birth to the congregation where Jim and Eleanor first ministered to my family.
